Have materials, will travel! For workshops I bring materials and charge per person. Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you want to offer a creative workshop to a group of people. I have lots of experience in schools, retirement homes and in private groups.
Most of my work is recycling materials and objects. I am a born minimalist and would love to see our planet with more nature than civilization. In fact we can be creative in anything we do and I’d say “Less materials and more creativity!”
Growing up in Holland with 10 sibblings creative ways of dealing with life was handed to me naturally. My dad was a craftsman and handed us many materials to experiment with.
Throughout my life I have tried to do this to others in workshops: getting people to play with all kinds of materials, to stimulate the imagination. When you play with materials that are already available and usually quite cheap, it sets you free to experiment and discover what wants to express itself through you.
Slow travel has also been a big part of my cretive life. To open up to different cultures and ways of life is so enriching and stimulating for the imagination. I spent 10 wonderful years in lively, colorful and hospitable Africa before settling down in Germany. Apart from creating a colorful world around me, I love giving workshops that stimulate our inborn creativity.
